How is everyone doing? I know you are all terrific, I am still on the hunt for Ted Toys made by the Ted-Toylers right here in the south coast regine of New Bedford Massachusetts. I have added a couple of rare pieces to my collection since the last post, Yet there are so many more out there that would make wonderful additions to my collection.
The Ted-Toy company made lots of different toys, Lots of soldier toys with wooden bodies, that were shaped like peanuts, with metal bases, Some of these were made into giants, A much larger version of the smaller toy. Sailboats, games, beads in jars that we strung together ourselves to make our own toys.
You can see many fine examples of not onlt Ted -Toys but a very unique history of early pull toys at http://www.antiquetoycollection.info and even see a few from my own collection on that sight.
So if by chance you run across any of the toys made by the Ted-Toylers drop me a line at tedtoycollector@aol.com
Enjoy your day
